WHAT IS DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL - EASTERN prospective
There is a saying , if you name something , It becomes truth with an identity. I had many seekers came with this explanation (Dark Night Of The Soul) after their spontaneous awakening.

1) After Kundalini awakening you become susceptible for Energy, Frequency changes. So If you don't built equanimity , you keep reacting to life intense situations between hatred or love. You swing like a rollercoaster.
2) Most intense energy experiences like kundalini happens during RAHU MAHADASHA in your astrological chart.
